Black Tie Gala and Silent Auction Benefiting Children with
Brachial Plexus Injuries

Ian’s Hope Foundation is hosting its first annual black tie gala with accompanying silent auction and VIP brunch. The VIP brunch kicks off the event on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Cypress Creek Christian Community Center located at 6823 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, Texas. The brunch is open to the public where they will have access to medical professionals and inspirational speakers that will be available for questions. Silent auction items will also be on display during the brunch. Tickets for the VIP brunch are $40. The black tie gala and silent auction will also be held at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center from 7-9pm on October 25, 2007. The Master of Ceremonies will coordinate the auction, the keynote speakers, dinner by Southern Elegance Catering, and dancing. Tickets can be reserved at www.ianshope.org. Ian’s Hope Foundation was founded in Mesa, AZ in 2005 to provide knowledge, a peer counseling base and assistance to families of children with brachial plexus injuries. A brachial plexus injury consists of damage to the nerves in the neck from the spinal cord to the arm. Actual injury levels range from stretched nerves to nerves that were completely ripped from the spinal cord. A variety of disabilities result from temporary paralysis, pain and loss of feeling, to full permanent paralysis of the muscles. Brachial plexus injuries also cause abnormal painful sensations and often result in children ignoring the injured arm completely.
Both A’memi Inc. the parent company of www.amemihome.com and Southern Elegance Catering have generously donated financially during the preparations for the event as well as offering much needed time as Ian’s Hope Foundation attempts to set a precedent for the years to come. Ian’s Hope representatives are in contact with local and national individuals and companies in the hopes of gathering more support in an effort to provide the many children and their families who are burdened by the necessary medical treatments and therapies for brachial plexus injuries with the assistance they need.
