you may or may not have pulled me over this afternoon when I may or may not have accidentally failed to come to a full and complete stop at one of the millions of stop signs in a neighborhood I was driving through while on my cell phone (Stacy- we're totally going to see the killers in 2 weeks- wooohooo!!!!!!)
with an expired inspection sticker (yeah whatever, I'm lazy, OK?) and threatened that if you catch me again it'll be "real bad" for me. you might even charge me with child endangerment because I have the audacity to use a cell phone in the same vehicle that my child is in. while I'm not actually sure you can do that legally, I appreciate the enormous concern for my children's welfare. Heaven knows they have a crappy mother- no one knows this more than me-It does my heart good to know that to you, their safety is paramount.
Oh yeah... and thanks for giving me a warning when you never do that.
I appreciate you. so does my wallet.
It seems that I have gotten pulled over by you Texas police officers more than any other state I've ever lived in.
It truly is like a whole 'nother country. y'all seriously don't mess around.
I will strive to not only be a better driver, but a better mother as well.
I know that if you could read this you would probably retract the warning and charge me with any number of felonies, but I am indeed grateful for your compassion. getting a ticket would've really cramped my style.

Good thing he doesn't read your blog. Obviously he doesn't know how well we are at multi-tasking.
Child endangerment? Are you kidding me??
You got pulled over again?
Right now, I'm glad I don't live in Texas. I'd be in BIG trouble.
Hello from BSU!
Yeah... definitely glad I don't live in TX! I thought the UT cops were annoying!
Oh this was hysterical how your wrote this; not at what happened, but funny how you wrote it! And geez, he must have thought you were pretty is the reason he only pulled you in the first place and then when he found out for sure that's when he decided to give you a warning!♥
the cheese is old and moldy
You "accidentally" ran a stop sign. Really?? It that what you're calling it now? An "accident"? LOL!
Way to get away with it. ;-)
Not intending to be "motherly", but you might watch what you joke about being a "crappy mother"...someone from CPS might come across your blog and then, boy is your ass in a sling! And remember ~ EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas...the slings, the tickets, all of it. I'm just sayin'....
I'm a loving mother simply trying to watch out {yet again} for one of my many loud mouth daughters. I simply cannot imagine where any of you get that "Loud Mouth" heritage! You know I love you and I REALLY would hate to lose 4 of my precious grandchildren because of ones' big mouth...I'm just sayin'....
Futhermore, I believe, as of 1 Jan 2009, it is now against Texas law to be using a cell phone, or any other type of telephone, whilst driving. Child endangerment or not.
I'm personally glad for this blog, because from CaLM RAPIDS I have now learned that you have been pulled over AGAIN...how many times does this make, my dear, darling daughter? I believe that this might fall under the Temple Recommend questions, "Do you obey the laws of the land?" and "Are you honest with our fellow man?"...and yes, DPS, constables, police, etc. ARE considered our fellow men...drat it all!
As for your "accidentally" failing to stop at a stop sign...oh, come now my darling...really! You are entirely TOO OLD to "accidentally" do anything like that. One expects Ashley, Lillibelle, Ian and Livvy to "accidentally" do things, but come now. When you get ticketed, I'll do my best not to say, "I tried to tell you, but no, you just wouldn't listen!" I'll try, I said...no promises. But I do love you and you have inherited my marvelous sense of humor!
Your savy charm and schmoozing always works doesn't it!? I bet you had him laughing in a millisecond of him standing in your presence.
:-)
Good job! Layners
So now I know where you get your humor and sarcasm! (loved you Mom's loving words! She's my kind of Mom!) Glad you avoided the ticket! I think I'll avoid Texas! (No cell phones while driving? Yuck!)
haha! That is hilarious really. I'm sure you were acting like you were high (due to the killers concert) and thats why you initially caught the guy's attention. Wehn he came upon you he realized you were just a bad mom on a cell phone. dang.
I never get warnings. Never. But I've only been pulled over twice.
